----- edit on Feb. 22nd 2006 ------
alright finally have the time to talk bout retreat...well let's just say it will for sure be one of those trips that i'll always rmb hahaha
well first day it took us 6 hours to get our lodge..haha well for all my sjab ppl...let's juss say the tradition of havin a car stuck each time i go to camp was not broken hahahaha...well bak to my story...took us forever to get to collingwood..crazee snow blowing everywhere...n seein how our directions wasnt the greatest n how itz all dark outside n we cant find our way...yah doesnt help...n i finally understand the concept of ZERO visibility..it happened couple of times that nite..n we were forced to just stop on the road..
finally we get to collingwood but still cant find our lodge..ended up at A&P around 12 at nite...found out one of the cars r slipping n sliding up a hill..n our pastor's car was already stuck in a ditch on the same hill...so a bunch of chinese ppl hit up A&P to ask for directions as well as buy Kitty Litter LOL
on the way to the "dangerous" hill...andrew's suv gets stuck in da ditch...3 ski patorl guys from blue mountain comes n saves us ..n drives away in the darkest...surely God was lookin out for us that night..surely ..tho no matter how fustrating n annoying that nite might have been..our fellowship stuck together like a family..n grew closer together...
lastly we cant forget bout the ladybugs that swarm our kitchen..."brokeback blue mountain"...finally an OAC picture...dare poker on the first nite...our worship n message sessions..our sharing times...n the puzzled look everyone had after communion lol
God was surely with us that weekend..n truly spoke to us..n that are long and treacherous journey to Scott Mission's Lodge simply resulted to one of the most memorable retreats ive been to...
