i find myself easily irritated lately...maybe just the situations i somehow get myself in the middle of...feel like hiding under a rock where ppl won't look for me
just gotta remind myself...all for Him and all for love

woah all the old-timers have officially return...
looks like its gonna b crazy summer for the parks and rec camps this year..
Just like what Kristina said, it is going to be an awesome summer cause so many people are returning and you know all the people in the high positions..
Kay and Francis are ACs....Lisa, Christina, Kristina, Janna, Richard, Daniella, Renee are Co-ordinators..Ricky is going back too...even the old-timers Wilson and Wansey have returned to be co-ordinators as well..(even tho their motivation is because they are graduated students that are unemployed LOL)
this is going to be my 2nd summer away from it..but surely it kind of makes me wanna go back to join the fun...i wonder if i'll be like Wilson and Wansey and just return one year after so long ..but of course i'll never return as a co-ordinator LOL

through the thunder and through the rain...
random fact: i never bring an umbrella to work, even though i know it will rains. Why? Because God is good to me, it always stop raining when I get off work. It may rain all day but when I get off work, it stops. Like yesterday, the weather was completely fine when I got off work. It was only after I was safely on the bus it started to pour.
i watched this video the other day at church while waiting for a meeting to start..didn't really think about it more deeply until yesterday when i was in the midst of a thunderstorm...
just about rain and thunderstorms in general...generally ppl dont like them...but i totally dont mind them at all...i actually do find it relaxing sometimes walking in the rain..sure u get wet..but ur grass gets greener...flowers bloom afterwards...car gets nice and clean...com'n how bad can storms be ? but i wonder if i have the same type of outlook in life ..when things don't go my way...when the "storms" coming rolling in and the world is all dark all around...can i really find myself standing there and thinking things will turn out just fine..but in reality...we are so worried about the moment at hand, on the problems that have been placed in our hands...and just dont want to do with it...and we start to question and wonder why did it happen in the first place...in reality..protray pretty nicely in the video..is that God has never left our side during these storms..He is with us each step of the way, sheltering us from the worst of it and we only have to deal with what He thinks we can handle...
we are but mere specks of dust in the hands of God yet continually and consistently He has cared for us, poured blessing on us and shown His loved for us..and din the midst of the storms in our lives..He draws us closer to Him even more...because we are in His embrace..telling us that things will be alright and that we will make it home
at the end of the day the storms will pass..and what's left are the clear blue sky..beautiful green fields..and a walk closer to God

SCAC 25th Anniversary Retreat
So the past weekend (may 20 - 22) was scac's 25th anniversary retreat at Georgian College in Barrie. It has to be the largest conference-type of event, I've ever been to. There was a total of 866 people from both the Chinese and English congregation at the retreat. I had a GREAT time just fellowshipping with people from both congregations, playing my first game of softball in like AGES, waiting endlessly for food, playing MAFIA in the wee hours of the night, watching Laputa, discussion after the english services, etc. The last message from the chinese main speaker was really encouraging. I thought the english services were really good, just looking deeper on what makes SCAC english congregation distinct and what the vision and mission of the church is. Other things that really stood out to me was Jon Lau's bday and how his friends just planned out the surprises for him. Also, how when we (the youth) took over the common room, and it was just such a gathering of people from different age groups in the church and just playing together.
All in all, this weekend was just a great reminder of the indescribable grace and incomparable love that God has pour onto SCAC the past 25 years.
