A.I.D.A.

last night in class...had a review for the whole course..which was weird since there are 2 more topics he still needs to teach ...*shrugs*

so we came to the topic of A.I.D.A. once again...for those non-business people out there...this is what it stands for..

A = Awareness
I = Interest
D = Desire
A = Action

It is a marketing term which basically refers to bringing a person from first being aware of a particular product...then causing to have interest in it and want to buy it...and in the end to persuade them to take action and purchase it..The greatest concern for most marketing people is jumping the chasm between the desire for something and to actually take action in purchasing it..

i dont know...what is it that people Desire out of life ? a career ? lots of money ? big house ? fancy car ? boyfriend/girlfriend ? happiness ? good grades ? so many different answers..but i guess i gotta ask myself...is God the greatest desire in my life ? sometimes we are brought up with so many "goals" in life...so many things to judge whether we were successful or not...but why can't we just want God ? want God to take control of our lives...want Him to be our goal in life..want Him to be our friend...want Him to be our love...want Him to be the most important person in our lives...and ULTIMATELY allow that desire to turn into action...and let that desire shape every decision n action in our lives..

people are right..there is a HUGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE gap or chasm to cross to get from the desire to the action....there are just so many things that hinder us as we try to cross it...whether it be our fears..our doubts..our worries..our family..our friends..our hopes..our dreams..our careers...in the end it is OURSELVES that is stopping us in being the person we desire to be...the person we were originally created to become...

o God i pray that i will one day become the person...You have created me to be..i know i am far from it right now...and i only pray that with each passing day...i will be one step closer...

on another note...prof and many of our guest speakers..mention that money is the most essential thing...it is like air...without it..it's over for the business...hmmm i wonder what it'll be like if we treat God as if He was like air...and just truly rely on Him in order to go through every moment of our lives...and to come to realization of His presence around us...that He is our each and every breathe...

i dont want You to be the reason that i breathe..but the very air that i breathe...may You be that important in my life..so that without You i wouldnt kno how to live....
