The Chronicles of Narnia
been readin it a lot lately since school started...just determined to finish all 7 books..finally on the 6th book now..n i just LOVE the biblical analogy in it..these two passages from the 5th Book the "Voyage of the Dawn Treader" stood out to me recently:
I just love the way how C.S. Lewis compares Aslan and Jesus. I really like the second quoted passage because it seems like this was the reason why he wrote these seven books. From reading these 7 books, we come and learn of this character Aslan is in the world of Narnia, which allows us to get a better understanding who He is in this world.

Fanny drove me home today from church. It was her first time driving w/o her parents. Both Jeremy and I survived. =o)
"Oh, Aslan," said Lucy, "Will you tell us how to get into your country from our world?"
"I shall be telling you all the time," said Aslan. "But I will not tell you how long or short the way will be; only that it lies across a river. But do not fear that, for I am the great Bridge Builder. And now come; I will open the door in the sky and send you to your own land."
"Are --- are you there[our world] too, Sir?" said Edmund.
"I am," said Aslan. "But there I have another name. You must learn to know me by that name. This was the very reason why you were brought to Narnia, that by knowing me here for a little, you may know me better there."

so 2nd week of skool is underway...for some courses i guess it's really starting now..w/ actual lectures and assignments coming out...gotta turn into ultimate nerd now, im determined to end my undergrad with a BANG it'll be hard but i am willing to try.
it was also career info day today for IT jobs..there were quite a few employers present Telus, ATI, Rogers, Microsoft, RIM and many more. this was quite a new experience for me going out there and trying to sell myself to these ppl all my conversations started like this "Hi, my name is Tim." *shakes hand and hope for no awkward silence* LOL talked to a few employers, handed out resumes but in all honesty im really not into job searching at the moment...y? because i do not want to work right away as soon as i graduate...the earliest i see myself working is in Sept. 2007..i want my summer vacation hahaha
lately i find myself praying more regularly..getting myself back on track n hopes that i may be a catalyst of some kind
BIG side note: my uncle in hk is getting baptized coming Sunday. =o)
