my first day at work...

so yesterday was my last official day as the SCAC Children's Ministry Intern.. surely da last 4 months was a blast...lotz to write bout ..but not now...i promise dere will b a detail post bout dat l8r on..

so today was my first day as an Quailty Assurance Intern at a company called Cybermation....s o wut does the company do? Cybermation is a software company, best known for their products ESP Workload Manager and Espresso. Other companies use these products to automate and manage their data processing environments . Using these products, companies can manage workload across multiple OS from one central point of control....

so i stole dat from a booklet dey gave me today..so how wuz my first day ? well letz juss say i hope it gets interestin real quick..but i kinda expected it...today i spent the whole day gettin familarize w/ da company and their products..so i was readin da documentation for dem...which will prob take me till wed to finish..i still got bout 300 pages to skim through...hopefully i do get dat over w/...so basically in da coming yr..im gonna spend half the time doin function testin...da other half doin systems testing...n a bit of research n development near the end...

rite now in da department..dere r 3 other interns like me.two of dem r leavin next week..so basically i have two weeks to learn everythin dey did da past yr..n dis is wut they told me "there's A LOT" i gotta learn...

so one bad thing is dat my cubicle is rite next to one of the main doors dat leads to the elevators..so dere is a lot of traffic around my desk..n oyah my cubicle is completely empty rite now...all i have on my desk is my phone..n da laptop which dey supplied me w/...i believe i will b gettin a desktop soon as well...im prob gonna start bringing stuff in to make my desk a bit more interestin...haha i dont even have a garbage can..im gonna go in early tml n steal one from an empty desk hahaha

n dis last little bit is for jason...hahaha..da company supplies us w/ unlimited amounts of jitz...ping pong....pop...juice..n coffee..LOL

now datz messed up !

so i was watchn da chinese news while eatin dinner tonite....n it talks bout in HK..dese two elementary school kids got into a fight..and afterwards..a group of adults came n chopped up one of the kids..now dat kid is badly wounded n is still in da hospital..

wutz wrong w/ dese ppl ? kids get into fights all da time...n most of da time itz over the smallest things...y would a bunch of ADULTS go chop up a kid ? wutz wrong w/ dese adults ? nice to kno dey r bein such good role models for the younger generation...

sigh...

vbs ended w/ ligthning an hail...

alrite so today was the last day of vbs..n wut happens ? dere wuz a thunderstorm w/ hail during our outdoor carnival....sum kids were on dis bus doin arts n crafts..n dey were stuck on dat thing for quite sum time..since it was too dangerous for dem to try to run into the building...

den while we were rehearsing for our BIG parents' nite..power goes out..n things juss get hectic n confusing..no one knew wut was goin on n stuff..it was sure madness...n we were about to cancel the whole thing..cuz power hasnt come bak on..but juss when we were about to...power comes bak on..truly thank God for dat...cuz da kids had an amazing time at nite...performing n all...beyond all da confusion n hecticness n massive clean up afterwards..it was all worth it.cuz da kids had a lot of fun =oP

truly the MOST memorable vbs EVER !!!! n w/ da end of today...my internship at church is comin to an end..w/ about two days left..

so today went to skool like all da other thurs....went down to Union station to take da GO bus home..n behold i c my "cousin" (in quotations because she really isnt my cousin..she is my uncle's wife's older sister's daughter..which makes her one of the closest relatives i got in Canada LOL) dere...so she was working late once again...she works for sum accounting firm..forget the name...as an auditor..n we were talkin..n sumhow the topic of jaywalking came up..

den she tells me dat last monday a friend of her's was killed because she was jaywalking...near birchmount n steeles...she was running after the bus..n was hit by a car..n killed...itz pretty crazee..my cousin was tellin me how she was engaged to her fiancee n was goin to married in Oct..n on top of dat..she was recently promoted as a manager as well...she had all dese things goin for her..den *poof* all in instant itz all gone..

juss got me tinkin...if u ask me y God allowed this to happen ? i really dont kno...but i do kno dat God will b here for me....walkin each step alongside me..in my times of trouble...i kno dat dere is no one better dan to placed my hope in God...n dat His plan will alwyz b better dan mine..n dat no matter wut happens...it is for the good of His ppl...

n on top of dat..juss reminded me of how much God blesses our lives..n at the same time..and we ought to cherish the things around us...espeically da little things dat we tend to neglect..so many of us go to sleep at nite...w/ da assumption dat tml will b dere...

absolutely hate it...

i hate it when you are writing a test...n u cant figure out a question ..until like the last 3 mins of it..n u dont have enough time to finish writing it...arghhhhhhhh

n another thing dat annoyed me today...was dis guy in class...he spent more dan 1/2 hour of the class arguing w/ the prof..okay..fine u want to ask a question..go ask...but actually do have the heart to listen to the prof when he gives u an answer..n not juss keep on babbling on about it..da guy kept on goin on n on..n da prof gave him a good explanation..but da guy was too busy arguing..he wasnt listenin....such a waste of time..y ask when u dont want to hear the answer ?

finally sumthin interestin...

so prof taught sumthin dat was interestin today...well at least to me it was...it goes sumthin like dis..

in some town...there is a barber who only shaves people's heads whom don't shave themselves
can such a person exist?

another crazee thing dat happen today...an Airbus from Paris went off the runway while landing at Pearson...it goes off the runway..almost hits the 401...it bursts into flames...n dere were 309 ppl on board..but no one dies..n only 14 ppl got injured...now datz truly amazing !
